The kind of humor I like is the thing that makes me jape for five seconds and think for ten minutes. That was the first quote that came to my point after I read this book. I enjoyed in tranquilizes comical way of expressing his feelings. But, was Mr. Bryson a little rocklike on the Statesns? This is the type of a book where you can really have fun while reading. What attracted me to this book was the way the creator expressed each occurrence in his rediscovery of the States in a comical way. Especially when Mr. Bryson starts comparing differences between America and its citizens, and England and its citizens, in a way it was never done before. He manages to describe some incidents in detail, and also hits out at Americas way of life. He points out at some specific problems that America and all Americans face. The fact is that Americans arent even aware of certain problems they have. It makes the whole book rattling interesting to read and you enjoy every part of it. c reation an American himself, he has a recollection of America as a nice place where he spent his childhood.
He dislikes the new America to that extent that he wonders why he moved back to America in the first place. To me, it indicates realizable cultural transition problem. As he says I had odd over(p) as a youth and was returning in vex age.(pp. 16) I can say that, everybody has some ideal bushel of the place where they spent their childhood. Thats probably why he was disappointed. Every country has some kind of charm. Mr. Bryson used strong words in the book, but in a canny way. I can say that every i nsult was conservatively coined and in tha! t way, he wasnt harsh. If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: OrderCustomPaper.com
